Felt Skulls
For Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos each Spanish 3 member got to design a little project for the other class members. Some other people and I took pieces of felt and cut it in the shape of a skull. We then took some colored string, sewed two pieces of felt together, and stuffed them with a little bit of stuffing. Once we had enough of skulls for the class we got markers and had people draw any face on their skull. From doing this activity and the other activities my classmates and I learned more about the different activities that some of my classmates do each year for Day of the Dead.

Infograph
We were working on a immigration project. For this we had to conduct an interview and create a documentary about the person we interviewed. For Spanish class we also had to make an infograph written in Spanish about what we learned about our subject such as, how old they were, what they did, etc. We also included some images of the person and some other things. The picture on the left shows an image of my infograph. From doing this infograph I learned more about Esteban Cantú. I learned more about his experience in the United States. I also learned how his life was in that time period.
